Elisa Gunn
I am 24 years old and I will be the ambassador representing Strasbourg at this 4th OWHC Young Ambassadors’ Meeting.
I’m currently in my first year of a master’s degree in art history at the University of Strasbourg and I’ve just started an internship with the city of Strasbourg, at 5e Lieu to be precise, where I am in charge of preserving the city’s listed heritage as well as cultural activities linked to the European Heritage Days. I chosed to leave my native South-West and the city of Bordeaux, nearly a year ago, for this attractive, bicultural city, which I’m still discovering and enjoying today.
I am interested in the weave between cultural studies and art history, and I sincerely believe that the preservation of our heritage should be linked to all contemporary issues. That’s why I’m delighted to be taking part in this meeting and sharing our knowledge, practices and issues with people from different European cities.
